The body of a married woman was found hanging in Pitonjhiya village under Gogri police station of Khagaria district. The incident is said to have happened late on Wednesday night. On receiving information about the incident, Gogri police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. Here, the parents of the deceased woman have accused her in-laws of murder. The police have detained the mother-in-law and father-in-law of the deceased woman and his first wife in the case and are interrogating them. The deceased has been identified as Gunjan Kumari, wife of Amir Yadav. It is noteworthy that the deceased’s husband Amir Yadav is in the Army. Who is in his village itself.
Family members have accused him of murder
Let us tell you that in this case, the parents of the deceased woman have accused her in-laws of murder. Pinky Devi, sister-in-law of the deceased, told that her sister-in-law was married to Amir Yadav 4 years ago. She alleges that Amir Yadav, after hiding the details of his first marriage, married her sister-in-law for the second time and took Rs 15 lakh as Tilak. According to the family members, everyday people from the in-laws side used to pressurize the deceased to get more money from his parents’ house and used to beat him up.
Police is investigating the allegation
On this incident, Gogri police station chief Ajit Kumar said that the incident happened late on Wednesday night. The body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. According to the allegations of the family members, it has been said that it was murder. Due to which some people are being detained and interrogated. The entire matter is being investigated.
